Hitsville N.O.T.L. - the shed studio - 2020-2021 studio upgrades
In March 2020 the Covid-19 pandemic hit us hard and shut everything down. Fortunately, I had a few projects to finish in the studio and though I could no longer to live gigs, at least I could keep busy.
Later that year, I decided to pull the trigger on the purchase of a brand new API 2448 console. Something I'd been dreaming of for quite a while. I still loved the Sony console, I'd been using for the last 17 years and I was lucky to keep it in the family at a pal's studio. Working with my amazing tech, sound designer and studio builder Frank Ditillio, we've transformed the space to accomodate the new desk.
