Steve Goldberger
(Dec/09) Steve’s latest studio album featuring a few originals but mostly “variations” on songs by his favourite Canadian and global songwriters. A slight departure from his other albums in that he plays most of the instruments himself on most of the songs. However the overall earthy and organic sound he is known for still remains.

“GUMBO DREAMS”, released in the fall of 2002, is Steve’s first album of all original “singer/songwriter” material. After thirty years of playing other writer’s songs and a lifetime of experience, he has returned to songwriting again. The songs cover the wide range of styles that have influenced him over the years resulting in a “gumbo-type” mix of roots, country-rock, blues and folk. If you had to label his music, you might be reminded of Bonnie Raitt, Jackson Browne, Lucinda Williams or Little Feat with some Don Henley thrown in.

THE NIAGARA RHYTHM SECTION
The Niagara Rhythm Section celebrates 6 years of live Saturday night performances on this DVD which was shot over four nights of shows at the Anchorage in Niagara-on-the-Lake. The DVD includes songs featuring Lance Anderson, Rodger Niznick and Denis Keldie battling it out on our special B3 organ night, a Halloween show with Bernie LaBarge, the "Big Rock Ending" with Neil Chapman. It concludes with the band's final show at the Anchorage which features a multitude of special guests including Mark Lalama, Denis Keldie, Tim Hicks, Dave Curry, James Brown, Graham Lear and more.
Also included are many behind the scenes segments with the boys' crazy antics back at the studio before and after the gigs.
A great piece of memorabelia for any NRS fan!
